"but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the LORD."
The Lord wants us to boast about Him. He wants us to shout from the mountaintop of His loving kindness and His goodness, to share with the whole creation of who He truly is.
I just think so many people has misunderstood God. When bad things happened, they blamed it to God. Why did this happen if He is good? Where is God when this happen to me? Why did He allow me to go through this if He is real? In their hearts they said bitterly, "There is no God."
Ever since the time in the Garden of Eden that the Serpent, Satan questioned Adam of God's goodness and His Sovereignty, this epidemic has spread to every human being. They have no knowledge of who God truly is. Adam was innocent but he was not matured. He was yet to grow into the full knowledge of who the Almighty, Holy God truly is. He had yet to gain the full revelation of our perfect, loving Father. That is why, he fell into the trap of the enemy.
Up until now, Satan is still whispering lies into the people's minds. He has no power to do any harm, all power and dominion has been given to Jesus Christ but Satan being the Father of all lies still goes around doing what he does best. The worst thing is, people who are like Adam, believed his lies!
Why? Because they do not have the knowledge of the Almighty. It does not matter what you can or cannot do, if we know God, we can be who we have been created to be. We can be who He has called us to be. No fear, no doubt, no uncertainties of what will happen next. Because we know God.
And this is what God wants each and everyone of His children be boasting of. That they knew Him so well and that they can go around telling everyone who He is and demonstrating to them the nature of His love and His power that is within us through the Holy Spirit.
This is nothing about head knowledge. Nothing about Theology, Christology or Pnuematology. It is about a true and abiding relationship and friendship with the Holy Spirit. It is through revelation not information. Information may help us to understand but unless we received it through revelation, our minds will not be renewed and we will continue doing the same old mistakes. Transformation comes through the true knowledge of knowing God and knowing Him through the revelation of the Holy Spirit.
Seek and you shall find. It is not difficult, all we need is a pure heart that truly and sincerely wants to know the Lord :) Trust me, He is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! The GREATEST Person that you will ever get to know in all existence!
